Speed Dial allows you to create and manage short dial codes that link to contacts or phone numbers, making it quicker to place outbound calls.
Speed Dial entries can be linked to:
- A PhoneLine+ user
- An existing contact
- An external phone number.
Accessing Speed Dial
Speed Dial settings can be accessed from your user settings.
- Open Settings
- Select Speed Dial.
Here, you’ll see a list of any existing speed dial entries, including:
- The dial code
- The name
- The replacement number the code will dial.

Adding a Speed Dial Entry
To create a new speed dial entry:
- Click Add to Speed Dial.

- Enter a Dial Code (This is the short code you’ll dial to place the call)
- Enter a Name to help identify the speed dial entry
- Use the search field to select a contact, phone number, or manually enter an external number
- Click Add to save the speed dial entry.

Once added, the speed dial code will appear in your Speed Dial list and can be used immediately.
Using Speed Dial
To place a call using Speed Dial, simply dial the assigned dial code from within the PhoneLine+ app. The call will be routed to the linked contact or number automatically.
Managing or Removing Speed Dial Entries
Existing speed dial entries can be managed at any time from the Speed Dial screen.
From here, you can:
- Review existing speed dial codes
- Remove speed dial entries that are no longer required.
